Coordinator, Marketing Canada Games: Quebec 2027

The Canada Games are the largest multi-sport competition in the country. From February 27 to March 14, 2027, Quebec City will welcome over 3,500 high-performance athletes and coaches competing in 22 sports disciplines. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate perseverance and the sporting spirit of young Canadian athletes.

The Canada Games 2027 Host Society is looking for bold and creative minds to help create legendary Games. Your mission? Join a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional moments for athletes and visitors alike, while building a lasting legacy of excellence and innovation for our community.

Your Role

Ready to make history? As Coordinator, Marketing, you’ll be at the heart of an ambitious and inspiring project supporting the development of various publications, the youth and education program, and contributing directly to operations related to official languages.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, your talent and energy will allow you to:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Host Society’s Youth and Education Program (schools tour in the Quebec City region).
  • Coordinate the planning, design, and production of publications targeting various Games audiences (e.g., participant microsite, printed volunteer guide, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and official languages requirements during Games-related events.
  • Write, edit, and translate marketing and communications content.
  • Develop and manage marketing project timelines and budgets, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g., sports, volunteers, partnerships, communications, etc.) to ensure the strategic and operational alignment across activities;
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, local partners, production teams, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth, professional execution.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Bring creativity, energy, and problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise.
What It Takes to Succeed

If you’re ready to join our team, here’s what we’re looking for:
  • College diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to details.
  • Experience with project planning and budget tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and autonomy.
  • Experience in the event industry.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) and advanced English.
  • Criminal background check required.
