Canada Games: Québec, 2027
The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role
The 2027 Canada Games are looking for a passionate event marketing professional to help shine a spotlight on one of the country’s largest sporting gatherings. Under the supervision of the Marketing Director, you’ll actively contribute to the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives for the Games. You'll bring the Games’ identity to life creatively across all platforms, aligned with the Host Society’s strategic objectives.
You will have a unique opportunity to leverage your talent and your skills to:
- Bring marketing campaigns to life by contributing to the design, planning, and execution of initiatives with a strong event focus, aligned with our strategic goals;
- Elevate our brand identity by supporting the marketing strategy before and during the Games, including community engagement, volunteer program, merchandise, ticketing, mascot, torch relay, etc.;
- Be in the action by actively participating in on-the-ground event operations, especially on key days;
- Be a brand guardian by ensuring our standards are respected at all physical activations;
- Follow timelines and budgets for events and marketing initiatives under your responsibility, meeting quality standards and deadlines;
- Uphold both official languages by ensuring high-quality French and English across all communication tools and visual assets;
- Build positive relationships with suppliers, local partners, production teams, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth and professional execution of activities;
- Tackle unexpected challenges with creativity and energy as they arise along the way.
Keys to success
Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:
- DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in marketing, communications, or a related field (a university degree is an asset);
- 3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or brand management role;
- Specific experience in the event industry;
- Strong written and spoken French; intermediate to advanced English;
- Authorization to work in Canada;
- Criminal background check required.
