Position Summary
We are hiring for a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist for the Penticton Regional Hospital. Casual employment offers flexibility around other commitments, and exposure to a variety of areas supporting SLP clients in the South Okanagan. We welcome new graduate and experienced SLPs to apply.

Days of Work: days as required
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00

About the role:
The Speech-Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.

Qualfications
Full practicing licensee as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
