Combined Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist

Position Summary
Interior Health has an opportunity for a Permanent Full Time CLXT in Ashcroft, B.C. If you have successfully completed a recognized Combined Lab/X-Ray CLXT program and would enjoy everything in this gentle paced, affordable and rural lifestyle, then we would love to hear from you!

What Will You Work On?
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The CLXT also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.

This position will work Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00. This position is a multisite position. Travel is required to the rural sites across Interior Health to provide backfill for leave requests. All travel will be reimbursed as per the IH Travel Policy.

Effective April 01, 2024 - the hourly wage for CLXTs will be $36.69 - $45.81

Qualfications
Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program.

Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.

One year of general experience in laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
