Position Summary
Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), located in Kamloops, B.C., has an immediate Casual Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) opening.

Effective April 2024 hourly rates of pay $37.89 to $47.31. Recognition of previous experience in determining starting salary.

As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP), your role involves:
• Leading exercise and mobility sessions for Ambulatory Care clients needing activity-based treatment.
• Working under clinical supervision to ensure interventions align with healthcare plans.
• Reviewing care plans and creating activation plans tailored to each client.
• Collaborating with the care team to integrate exercise interventions.
• Providing individualized exercise prescriptions based on clients' needs.
• Offering mobilization support and teaching safe movement techniques.
• Educating and counseling clients on health and lifestyle choices.

In essence, you're instrumental in guiding clients toward their health and mobility goals through personalized exercise and support.

Qualfications
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Sciences from a recognized program.

Certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with either the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
