Our client is seeking a talented Warranty Supervisor to join their team in Vancouver.

About The Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to work in all aspects of quality control inspections during construction, pre-completion, orientations and possession. The successful candidate will have great organizational and time management skills and thrive in a fast-pasted environment. They are a proven self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, and are comfortable working on your own as well as part of a cross-functional team.
This opportunity is available to candidates based in Lower Mainland, Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, New Westminster, Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Delta, Richmond, Chilliwack, and North Vancouver.
About The Position
You’ll spend your day meeting with homeowners to review requested service items, as well as conduct various hands-on pre-completion and post completion duties as scheduled by the Manager,
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on work orders.
- Update service item work order status daily, making notes re: other issues - not warrantable items, homeowner damage, recommended back charges etc.
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and resolve if possible as appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with the Customer Service Team regarding service item status, prioritization, and timing to complete requested warranty work.
- Conduct customer orientations as required.
- Meet with/supervise contractors as required.
- Assess reported common area deficiencies, carry out necessary repairs, calling in contractors as appropriate.
- Order and maintain supplies, equipment, parts, materials needed to complete warranty work orders; submit expenses.
- Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested.
The Requirements
- Experience with multi-family and mixed-use real estate projects
- 5-7 years’ experience in home repairs or home warranty work
- The ability to perform home repairs with a high degree of quality and efficiency
- Calmness and professionalism under pressure
- Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Compensation
- $80,000 - $90,000
- Mileage Reimbursement
- Three weeks vacation
