About The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to work closely with the leadership and project management team. The company invests in its staff, supporting growth and development. This position is ideal for someone technically capable who has hands-on experience executing tenant improvement projects typically ranging from $5M-$30m.

About The Position
The Senior Project Manager will support the Project Management team on a variety of projects across sectors including education, childcare, technology, food & beverage, recreation, and more. Responsibilities will include working on multi-story TI and Retrofit projects for large, globally recognized companies, splitting time between site, office, and home. This role provides exposure to both the technical and operational sides of project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage construction subtrades and suppliers, and mitigate issues that may arise in the course of a project.
  • Monitoring and management of project budget, ability to minimize project costs through inventive methods and regular financial reporting to management
  • Lead our internal project team, including Site Superintendents and Project Co-Ordinator’s.
  • Issuing contracts, requesting insurance and bonds, etc.
  • Using software platforms to manage labor, materials, and equipment, cost coding, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, change orders, etc.
  • Work in partnership with Site Superintendent to deliver a high quality finished product while managing the schedule and budget.
  • Meeting with architects, consultants, and clients to manage project issues and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Preparation of monthly progress claims, review and approval of subtrade and supplier invoices.

The Requirements

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in the commercial construction field in a Project Manager position
  • Experience leading TI or retrofit projects in the $5M-$30M+ range.
  • Construction knowledge - strong overall understanding of construction process.
  • Post-secondary, technical education or similar in a construction or industry-related program

Compensation

  • Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 DOE
  • Bonus: Profit sharing incentive
  • Benefits: Medical, Company Vehicle
