About the Role
This is a newly created Financial Analyst position reporting to the Director of FP&A, supporting key sales channels across the business.

The role is highly commercial and forward-looking, partnering closely with sales leadership to provide insights on revenue, margins, and performance. You’ll play a key role in forecasting, reporting, and driving business decisions in a dynamic distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales leaders to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis
  • Analyze revenue, margins, and sales channel performance, providing actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts aligned with business objectives
  • Deliver regular reporting using SAP and BI tools, focusing on sales and profitability metrics
  • Support month-end processes, including variance analysis and performance commentary
  • Track and analyze product purchasing and resale performance within a distribution model
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to improve reporting and decision-making
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support growth and margin improvement
  • Contribute to process improvements and enhancements to reporting capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or commercial finance
  • Experience within distribution, consumer goods, or product-based environments strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of sales, margins, and revenue analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI/reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
  • Commercial mindset with strong business acumen
  • Proactive, personable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

  • Base salary in the range of $90,000 - $105,000
  • 10% performance-based bonus
  • RRSP matching (3%)
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Hybrid work model (3 days in office: Tuesday-Thursday)
