Personal Lines Account Manager

Our insurance brokerage client is currently seeking to add an experienced personal lines professional to their Kingston office as an Account Manager. This a great opportunity for personal lines professionals who enjoy selling and servicing clients in a tight-knit community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely responses to phone, email, and fax inquiries while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Conduct renewal reviews, offer recommendations, obtain comparison quotes, and remarket policies when appropriate
  • Maintain full awareness of client accounts and actively pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Process renewals, policy changes (endorsements), and claims efficiently
  • Serve as a technical resource for Personal Lines staff and support onboarding of new team members
  • Handle change requests and transactions using EPIC and insurer portals as needed
  • Review and invoice endorsements and, when required, renewal transactions
  • Generate in-house endorsements and new business submissions through insurer portals as needed
  • Finalize and release renewals after making necessary adjustments
  • Upload and organize client documents in EPIC
  • Provide quotes for cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Issue pink slips and handle other administrative tasks as required
  • Prepare documents for new business, including forms needing client signatures
  • Order and manage reports such as MVRs, Autoplus, and HITS

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of home and auto insurance servicing experience
  • Active RIBO License
  • EPIC knowledge is a huge plus
  • Experience dealing with clients via different channels (Phone, email, Walk-ins, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
