Junior Corporate Auditor

We’re currently hiring a Junior Corporate Auditor on behalf of a large, established organization with operations across Canada and the U.S. This role is well suited for someone early in their audit or accounting career who wants exposure beyond routine testing and is interested in learning how audit and controls operate in a corporate environment.

About the Opportunity
As a Junior Corporate Auditor, you will support internal audit and review activities across multiple business units. You’ll work closely with experienced audit professionals and internal stakeholders, gaining hands-on exposure to financial and operational processes, internal controls, and risk assessment. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and looking to build a strong foundation in corporate audit.

Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of internal audits and business reviews
  • Assist with audit planning, walkthroughs, testing, and documentation
  • Participate in discussions with business teams to understand processes and controls
  • Help identify gaps or improvement areas and support follow-up activities
  • Assist with reviews related to new or evolving business operations
  • Support internal control documentation and process updates
  • Participate in inventory observations, operational reviews, and special projects
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Operations, IT, and external auditors

The Requirements

  • 1-2 years of internal audit, assurance, or related accounting experience
  • Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of audit concepts or internal controls
  • Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S. (approximately 20%)
  • Interest in long-term professional development within audit or accounting
