Junior Commercial Account Manager

Our Insurance Brokerage client is currently in an expansion phase, and they are looking to hire motivated individuals to service their growing commercial insurance book. This is a fantastic opportunity for entry-level commercial lines candidates with a bit of experience who are looking to grow themselves into solid Account Managers. This is a fully on-site role in the client’s Niagara office.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior account managers in servicing Commercial Lines accounts
  • Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, renewals, and policy documents
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, certificates, and documentation
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and cancellations
  • Maintain accurate client files and documentation in the agency management system
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products under the guidance of senior staff
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding client requests and renewals
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurers, and internal team members
  • Stay up to date with insurance products, coverage options, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of commercial lines experience
  • RIBO license is required
  • Experience with Powerbroker is an asset
  • Knowledge carrier portals and guidelines are an asset
