Family Law Clerk

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of family law clerk experience, with a strong grasp of procedures, documentation, and financial analysis in family law cases
• Proficiency with DivorceMate software and extensive experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Strong communication skills for client meetings, preparing legal documents, and coordinating with witnesses
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working with court filings, trial preparations, and case management software
• Knowledge of child support, spousal support calculations, and net family property statements
• Familiarity with billing and cost preparation processes

Preferred Education & Experience

• Post-secondary education in Law Clerk Studies or a related field

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, based on experience
