Our client, a highly regarded and nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an entrepreneurial construction lawyer to help expand and shape its front-end construction practice. With an established reputation as one of Canada’s leading construction law firms and a thriving litigation practice already in place, the firm is looking to capitalize on growing client demand for transactional construction, infrastructure, project finance, and construction lending work.

This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys building client relationships, developing business, and helping grow a practice within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Compensation

  • $250,000+, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities
The ideal individual joining the team will have excellent experience in the following: construction contracts and project documentation, infrastructure projects, and various banking and financing matters as they relate to major projects.

Given the nature of the position, the ideal individual would be coming in with a portable book of business and enjoys originating work and developing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
  • 10 years of post call experience with significant solicitor experience involving construction matters
