Exciting opportunity for a Commercial Insurance Broker based in Edmonton to become a part of a nationwide insurance brokerage, work on diverse accounts across Alberta.

Our client is one of the fastest growing brokerage in Canada. They are known for their dedicated team focused on delivering the best solution for customers. They are currently in search of a Commercial Lines Insurance Broker to maintain and grow a book of business with small to medium accounts in various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer service contact, handling inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
  • Respond to customer requests, either directly or through the Producer, and submit information to appropriate insurance companies
  • Participate in account reviews, promote additional products and services, and provide value-added services to clients
  • Prepare submissions, applications, proposals, cover notes, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance partners
  • Market accounts including new, renewal, and midterm changes

Qualifications

  • Must have Level 1 valid broker license in Alberta, Level 2 preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commercial insurance Broker at a brokerage
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
  • CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset
