Commercial CSR/ Account Manager

Our client is a well-established and growing insurance brokerage looking to add an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to their team in Burlington, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, handling complex commercial accounts, and working within a collaborative brokerage environment that offers strong long-term growth potential.

This is a fully in-office position (5 days per week) based in Burlington.

Compensation

  • $70,000-$80,000+ base salary depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts across the Ontario market
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients regarding coverage questions, policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and renewals
  • Lead the renewal process from start to finish, including gathering updated exposure information, preparing market submissions, negotiating with carriers, and presenting renewal options
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurer partners to secure competitive coverage and pricing
  • Collaborate closely with producers and account executives to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business
  • Review policies for accuracy and ensure compliance with client needs, RIBO guidelines, and provincial regulations
  • Maintain accurate client records within the broker management system
  • Assist clients throughout the claims process and act as a liaison with insurers when needed
  • Stay informed on Ontario market trends, carrier appetite changes, and emerging risks

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience within an Ontario brokerage environment
  • Active RIBO license in good standing
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy wordings, and Ontario endorsements
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
