Claims Technical Specialist, Liability Specialty Claims (Toronto)

Are you an experienced claims professional with a passion for handling complex, high-stakes files? Our client, one of Canada’s largest and most respected insurance carriers is seeking a Claims Technical Specialist to join their well-established specialty claims team. This team manages multi-million-dollar commercial claims, including high-profile litigation and historic cases across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex casualty and litigation claims in the specialty team
• Handling D&O, E&O, Class Action, Cyber, Environmental claims
• Join court hearings, mediation, and manage communications with external lawyers
• Negotiate settlements

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience handling litigation claims
• CIP designation or willingness to complete CIP
