Account Manager, Commercial Lines

Our client, a well-established, truly independent, and family-owned Insurance brokerage in Hamilton, ON are currently in growth phase and are looking for and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager with Mid to Large market experience to support their growing operations. Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily servicing of the client portfolio in collaboration with Producers
  • Assess clients’ current coverage, claims history, and exposures to identify appropriate insurance solutions
  • Enter and maintain accurate information for new clients and claims
  • Respond to client inquiries and handle urgent requests as needed
  • Develop strong client relationships and gain a thorough understanding of their needs
  • Work with insurance partners to secure optimal risk transfer solutions for clients
  • Record all communications and interactions with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Address client questions about policies, coverage, and payments promptly through various communication channels
  • Prepare and send out renewal binders as instructed
  • Oversee and manage accounts receivable for assigned clients

Qualifications

  • RIBO License in good standing is required (CIP, CAIB, CRM designations are assets)
  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience with diverse Mid-Large market accounts ($20,000 and above in premiums)
  • EPIC experience is a bonus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and listening skills
  • Strong attention to details and organization skills
