Job Description: In accordance with the vision, mission and values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the policies and procedures relating to Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Social Worker (BSW) is responsible for the provision of community based mental health counseling services to clients within the Mental Health Adult and/or Child and Youth Mental Health Programs. The position is also accountable for the provision of public education, mental health promotion, consultations and advocacy aimed at supporting individuals wishing to improve their quality of health. The Social Worker (BSW) reports to the Director for administrative supervision and to the Clinical Supervision for Adult and/or Child and Youth Mental Health Programs for clinical supervision.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • 2 years recent nursing exp. in community mental health, homecare, ER environment
  • Experience in case management is an asset
  • Experience in mental health & addictions is an asset

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
