Job Description: The Transport Respiratory Therapist will be responsible to provide advanced respiratory treatment to complex/critical patients in unpredictable environments encountered in a wide variety of health care facilities. Transportation and care of these patients will occur via air or ground transport. The Transport Respiratory Therapist will be expected to perform advanced skill procedures learned through specialized training under the direction of the Transport Physician via protocols, guidelines and orders received in person or via telephone communication. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care required
- 2 years minimum experience in a critical care environment
Education
- Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Completion of the Neonatal Transport Training Course
