Job Description

THE REGISTERED NURSE A IS RESPONSIBLE TO THE NURSING UNIT MANAGER OR DIRECTOR OF NURSING. THE REGISTERED NURSE A IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING A HIGH STANDARD OF PATIENT CARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VISION, MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY OF THE PRINCE ALBERT PARKLAND HEALTH REGION. AS A MEMBER OF THE NURSING DEPARTMENT, THE REGISTERED NURSE A HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF COMPREHENSIVE CLIENT CENTERED CARE. Required Qualification: Emergency Nursing Certificate

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Emergency Nursing Course
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

149.36 hours of work in a 4 week rotation.
