Job Description

REPORTING TO THE FACILITY MANAGER/DIRECTOR OF CARE/NURSING UNIT MANAGER, THE REGISTERED NURSE A/RPN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING A HIGH STANDARD OF PATIENT CARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VISION, MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY OF THE PRINCE ALBERT PARKLAND HEALTH REGION. THE REGISTERED NURSE A/RPN HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF COMPREHENSIVE CLIENT CENTERED CARE.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
