Direct Funding Accounts Coordinator

The overall role of the Direct Funding Accounts Coordinator position is to provide, manage and coordinate financial and administrative processes to families through the (MCH) Autism Program Fee-Based Core Clinical Services program. The Direct Funding Accounts Coordinator will act as the primary contact for parents and caregivers to help support payment, invoicing, and reconciliation processes. The Direct Funding Accounts Coordinator will also support workshops and consultation appointments to parents and caregivers through the MCH Autism Program. The Direct Funding Accounts Coordinator will work closely with the MCH Autism Program Clinical Managers, Clinical Leaders, Program Coordinator, Family Service Coordinators, Business Clerks, Clinical team, as well as the Hamilton Health Sciences Finance team to provide excellent customer care and to ensure all financial processes and reporting is completed in a timely and accurate way.


Qualifications

1.       Graduate of a social sciences field. Preference for autism and accounting experience.

2.       Experience with financial management (planning, monitoring and processing).

3.       Experience working with autistic children and their families.

4.       Demonstrated proficient computer skills in a variety of applications including Epic, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Adobe, and MS Teams.

5.       Effective communication and interpersonal skills within a professional environment.

6.       Effective problem-solving skills.

7.       Excellent customer service skills.

8.       Demonstrated ability to work independently and organize and establish priorities.

9.       Demonstrated ability to meet project and task deadlines.

10.  Demonstrated ability to develop systems that create efficient workflow.

11.  Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, challenging, and complex environment.

12.  Fluency in French will be considered an asset.

13.  Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS).
