Decision Support Analyst

As part of the dynamic Decision Support Team, the Decision Support Analyst will work with the Decision Support Manager and Decision Support Advisor to assist them in achieving and maintaining effective reporting and planning to support the Centre for International Blood & Marrow Registry (CIBMTR) data team. The Decision Support Analyst will be centrally located within the Decision Support team of professionals and will be working closely with that team and the Hematology program at HHS. The Analyst will be required to create, contribute and maintain regular reporting, workflows and provide adhoc reporting as requested. This includes an in-depth knowledge of CIBMTR and HHS source systems and the ability to pull out key data elements, data quality validation, analyze and interpret CTT data, and provide feedback to the Manager and Advisors. 

1. Certified Canadian College of Health Records Administrators or Post Secondary Degree or Diploma preferred
2. Experience in data analysis and reporting, including extracting, integrating, validating, and interpreting data from multiple source systems. Strong technical aptitude with analytical tools and the ability to develop queries, manage datasets, and ensure data quality
3 . Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC applications
4. Strong aptitude toward data interpretation with preferable experience in analyzing statistical data to identify trends and relationships in the numbers
5. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, coupled with a desire and ability to be a team player
6. Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support analysis and reporting activities
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
8. Experience supporting Ministry of Health reporting and data submissions is an asset
