Clinical Leader

Under the direction of the Director, the Clinical Leader for the Complex Malignant Hematology Program at Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre provides clinical and operational leadership across inpatient and ambulatory hematology services, supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals with malignant hematologic disorders receiving complex therapies including chemotherapy, transfusion support, medication infusions, therapeutic apheresis, stem cell harvest, and autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation.

The Clinical Leader promotes a safe, efficient, and collaborative practice environment by advancing quality improvement initiatives, optimizing resource utilization, supporting clinical performance measurement, and facilitating interdisciplinary coordination across clinic, Oncology Day Services, and inpatient settings. In partnership with medical and operational leadership, the role supports change management, fosters professional practice development, and promotes effective communication to ensure integrated, accountable, and continuously improving care aligned with organizational and Regional Cancer Program priorities.
