Company Description

Under the direction and supervision of Retail Manager for the Gift Shop & Convenience, the Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for providing the day-to-day operational supervision and coordination of activities in the Gift Shop, Convenience store and Lobby Vendor Program while promoting profitability and customer satisfaction.

Job Description
  • Responsible to work with the Retail Manager to ensure team work and collaboration for purchasing, inventory control, merchandising, and training of Volunteers.
  • Provide assistance and support to store operations as directed by the Retail Manager and as needed.
  • Work alongside Volunteers to ensure customer service, engagement and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and Volunteers to achieve sales targets, maintain productivity and ensure effective inventory controls.
  • Manage ordering and restocking of convenience store items to ensure consistent product availability
  • Use Point of Sale and inventory data to maintain a replenishment process for key items, and collaborate with the Manager on purchasing and inventory controls
  • Assist in daily business needs including receiving and ticketing merchandise, resetting the floor and special events as determined by the Manager.
  • Follow open and close procedures and daily reporting
  • Assist in maintaining organized stockrooms, ensuring store merchandising and products are accounted for and displayed appropriate to optimize sales.
  • Assist in annual inventory preparation and process.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of retail experience
  • Experience in sales, merchandising, POS systems and customer service
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Word, Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Goal oriented ability to stay focused on creating winning results
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience working with Volunteers would be a strong asset
  • Excellent communications both verbal and written, interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to manage and engage in a volunteer based working environment
  • Must be available during operating hours; schedule may vary based on business needs.

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Sunday; Various rotating 7.5 hour day shifts; 0900-1700,1000-1800 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
