As a Dock Foreman, you will ensure the smooth transfer of goods from their point of origin to their final destination, while earning a salary between $65 036 and $80 338 / year  with an annual salary review.

 

When you join the team of JERRY_TODD ARIGANELLO - Operation Supervisor, you’ll enjoy a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday for 5 am to 2pm and your Quart de Jour will look like:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan warehousemen activities
  • Coordinate positioning, loading, and unloading of trailers
  • Draft reports and ensure the efficiency and profitability of operations while dealing with cases of loss and/or surplus in real-time
  • Participate in implementing loading and unloading procedures, compliant with appropriate transportation documents, and ensure that these are respected
  • Use IT programs designed to carry out work (Truckmate and Connected Dock)
  • Promote workplace HACCP health and safety standards (according to terminal) and ensure that these are respected
  • Ensure that dock cleanliness is respected 
  • Train and coach collaborators in your department
  • Provide an end-of-quarter report to the following managers
  • Perform all other related tasks

  • 2 to 5 years of experience on a Dock in a transportation company
  • Strong experience in Fork lift and pallet jack;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Experiences with Reefer Van (asset);
  • Experiences with HACCP norms (asset)
  • Experience with the Cold Chain and perishable goods (asset)
  • Good communicator both orally and in writing;
  • Good management of priorities;
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions;
