  • Participates in training on operational procedures: monitors mandatory training, supports drivers after accidents/violations, delivers memos, and contributes to training program improvements.
  • Conducts quarterly training (Spring, Summer, Winter).
  • Handles onboarding for new drivers, material handlers & dispatchers: explains procedures, completes onboarding forms, provides equipment training, accompanies new drivers, and reviews progress.
  • Manages master drivers & driver-trainers: conducts or assigns evaluations and holds monthly meetings.

 Compliance / Daily Monitoring / Operational Support

  • Ensures onboarding and welcoming processes are applied.
  • Participates in safety and compliance activities on the field, including accident follow-up.
  • Verifies transport documents, inspection reports, and accident reports; assigns refresher training.
  • Ensures compliance with and application of established standard operational procedures. 
  • Monitors driver behavior using ISAAC tracking (speeding, idling, hard brakes).
  • Ensures proper use of ISAAC devices and provides technical support.
Committees / Projects / HACCP
  • Participates in Health & Safety Committee.
  • Acts as Quality Manager for HACCP and performs monthly inspections.
  • Participates in methods & procedures implementation projects.

  • Be flexible to change your schedule according to trainings and operationnals needs
  • Own an AZ Driver permit and Good Driver record
  • Minimum 10 years of AZ driver experiences in differents routes (local, long distance, etc)
  • Own a valid Forklift license
  • Strong knowledge of the law in Transportation
  • Strong knowledge of the best practices as a professional Driver
  • Strong knowledge and experiences in Dangerous Goods
  • Experiences in training Drivers and Material Handler is an asset
  • Good communicator and ability to explain technical informations to an audience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the softwares Truckmate and Isaac is an asset.
  • French language requirement at a beginner Level (interactions with suppliers, clients, and French-speaking employees and/or those located outside the province of Ontario)
  • Bilingual French / English is an asset
