Position: After sales service technician

Immediate Report: Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and reassure customers having problems with equipment (summary diagnosis);
  • Refer customers to service companies in their area;
  • Assign mandates (PO) to the various service companies for warranty work at our customers;
  • Follow up with service companies so that our customers are served as quickly as possible;
  • Technically assist service technicians in diagnosing the problem;
  • Determine the parts needed to solve the problem;
  • Raise recurring issues to supervisor;
  • Determine whether a case is covered by warranty or not and take action accordingly;
  • Document cases in the ticket system;

Requested skills

Prerequisites and training:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • French/English bilingualism: spoken & written, intermediate level;
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry (an asset);
  • Experience with an ERP system will be considered an asset (Genius);
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Skills :
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to manage several cases at the same time with efficiency;
  • Communicate in a clear, concise and respectful manner;
  • Rigor / Autonomy / Initiative;
