Reporting to the Project Director, the incumbent of this position oversees and structures the various project execution activities (engineering, manufacturing, quality, subcontractors) to ensure the company adequately meets client needs while respecting commercial agreements and project budgets. Due to the nature of the role, the Project Manager must be mobile and available to work on-site.
They must carry out their responsibilities with commitment, integrity, and professionalism. They work safely in accordance with the company’s health and safety policies and collaborate with team members on the continuous improvement of the company’s processes.
THE INCUMBENT OF THIS POSITION HAS THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As an employee, act as an ambassador and promote organizational values;
- Act as a Fournier representative by managing client interactions throughout project execution on-site;
- Establish the execution plan (activities, priorities, and timelines);
- Coordinate and monitor all on-site activities (design, manufacturing, installation) to deliver projects according to client requirements;
- Meet established deadlines and budgets while avoiding cost overruns;
- Maintain up-to-date project schedules in alignment with overall and departmental planning;
- Develop project schedules in collaboration with various stakeholders (superintendents, foremen, engineers);
- Issue purchase requisitions related to projects;
- Plan and lead kick-off meetings, project coordination meetings, and final post-mortem reviews;
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
