Position Purpose
Reporting to the Inspection Supervisor, the position holder supports all activities of the Quality Control department.
Responsibilities
- Perform hardness testing on parts using the appropriate equipment;
- Prepare inspection reports using computer-based tools;
- Learn and apply the various sampling tables;
- Perform straightening operations on small metal parts;
- Learn straightening techniques for complex parts;
- Safely operate lifting and material-handling equipment (hoists, forklifts, etc.);
- Handle parts using material-handling equipment (hoists, forklifts, etc.);
- Collaborate with other members of the inspection team to ensure product compliance;
- Apply quality standards (AS9100) and internal procedures;
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
- Perform any other related duties.
Job Requirements Required Education
- High School Diploma;
- Training in inspection, quality control, or metalworking (an asset);
- Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of measuring equipment;
- Proficiency with computer tools for report writing;
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (an asset);
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and functional proficiency in written English, required to read and understand English-language documentation from suppliers located outside Quebec.

- Thoroughness, precision, and attention to detail;
- Strong analytical and observational skills;
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve;
