Purpose of the position

Reporting to the continuous improvement supervisor, the business analyst acts as a strategic bridge between business teams and information technology. he/she analyzes, models, and optimizes business processes in order to design, implement, and enhance it solutions — primarily centered around a corporate ERP — that support the group’s performance, growth, and operational standardization. he/she ensures that delivered solutions meet operational, financial, and regulatory requirements while promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and user adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs across various departments (finance, operations, quality, supply chain, sales, production);
  • Map, document, and optimize business processes;
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements;
  • Actively participate in the implementation, evolution, and optimization of the ERP system (EPICOR);
  • Configure, test, and validate ERP solutions according to business requirements;
  • Act as a key resource for users throughout project phases (analysis, testing, deployment, post‑implementation);
  • Prepare and deliver functional training and produce user documentation;
  • Support change management to ensure effective adoption of new solutions;
  • Diagnose and resolve application incidents and anomalies (root cause analysis, follow‑up, and resolution);
  • Perform functional testing and ensure the quality of delivered solutions.

Job Requirements

Educational requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, operations management, or any other relevant field.

Technical Skills

1 to 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or information systems;

  • Strong understanding of business processes: finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing (an asset);
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong data analysis capabilities;
  • Experience with an ERP system (EPICOR strongly preferred);
  • Knowledge of reporting and performance indicator tools (Power BI – an asset);
  • Experience in ERP implementation or continuous improvement initiatives

  • Valid driver’s license.
