Position Summary
As a Sr. Financial Analyst you will play a key role in the financial management of the site, working closely with the production, management, and leadership teams.
You will provide accurate analyses, anticipate variances, optimize costs, and actively contribute to achieving strategic objectives.
You will thrive in a dynamic environment where your role is central to decision-making and business strategy.
This position offers great visibility, close collaboration with leadership teams, and a real opportunity to contribute to the growth of a site undergoing major transformation.
Main Objectives:
Analyze and explain manufacturing variances to improve performance.
Actively contribute to achieving productivity gains in line with budget targets.
Coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial monitoring.
Ensure the accuracy of physical inventories and the compliance of accounting records.
Develop and update product cost standards.
Oversee the capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgeting process, from justification to investment analysis.
Ensure the timely production of monthly financial reports.
Collaborate in internal and external audits.
Provide support for other projects as needed by the plant.
Key requirements:
University degree in accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance.
Proficiency in both French and English (due to part of the team being based in the U.S., requiring fluent communication).
Team spirit, autonomy, and excellent stress management skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Preferred:
SAP knowledge
Professional Designation: CPA, CGMA or CMA
