An internship in accounting and internal audit at National Bank means contributing directly to financial discipline and the continuous improvement of our processes. This job allows you to make a positive impact with your knowledge of accounting, financial data analysis, and auditing.

Your role

  • Optimize analysis environments (SQL, SAP, Excel) by improving tools and developing dashboards.
  • Perform financial and operational analyses to support various business lines and simplify disclosure and management reporting.
  • Support the production of calculations related to hedge accounting, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Participate in internal audit mandates to evaluate processes
  • Communicate findings and contribute to the formulation of recommendations.
  • Contribute to financial audit and internal control work, including support to the external auditors in the audit of the Bank's financial statements.

Internships are currently available in these teams:

  • Financial Markets and Subsidiary Accounting
  • Accounting, Consolidation and Disclosure
  • Internal Audit

Prerequisites

  • Be an undergraduate or graduate student in a field related to accounting or auditing.
  • Be proficient in Excel and demonstrate an interest in financial data analysis.
  • Have an understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Have an interest in the CPA pathway.
  • Have good analytical and synthesis skills, and demonstrate initiative and rigor.
