On a daily basis you will have to:
- Carry out SIL validation calculations
- Write Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS)
- Prepare quotes for instrumentation and control
- Produce instrument and control valve specifications
- Participate in P&ID reviews
- Supervise the preparation of technical drawings
- Develop test procedures
- Carry out site visits and inspections
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering (or equivalent)
- Member of the Order of Engineers of the Province
- About 10 years and more of experience in the field
You are the one we’re looking for if you have:
- Excellent teamwork skills
- The ability to quickly converge in problem solving
- Functional safety certification like CFSP, CFSE and TÜV and/or knowledge of IEC-61511 and ANSI/ISA84 standards
- Knowledge of industrial automation (an asset)
- Knowledge of PLC programming, human-machine interfaces (HMI), distributed control systems (DCS) and safety systems (an asset)
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and power distribution (an asset)
- A keen sense of resourcefulness
