In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in identifying and prioritizing strategic initiatives to improve the management system across all functions, chains, and business processes of the organization
  • Work closely with all stakeholders in product development and operations to achieve our organizational objectives
  • Take action to solicit everyone's contribution to achieving the company's strategic objectives in terms of performance and quality improvement in the context of implementing Lean concepts and ISO certification
  • Recommend strategies and tactics to management to develop and maintain a comprehensive LEAN and ISO organizational culture at all levels over time
  • Monitor the progress of identified process improvement initiatives based on measurable objectives, providing support to functional managers according to established priorities.
  • Ensure strong links between processes.
  • Manage resources for the methods, process improvement, and quality sector.
  • Manage the budget for the quality/improvement/methods sector.
  • Provide various staff members with the necessary training in lean manufacturing and process improvement
  • Review the progress of corrective and preventive action requests and coordinate responses to customers
  • Review, through management reviews scheduled at regular intervals, the assessment of opportunities for improvement and the need to modify the Quality Management System (QMS), including the quality policy and quality objectives
  • Implement management review recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the QMS and the product in relation to customer requirements and other regulations (e.g., the Gas Emissions Act, Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), Conflict Minerals, California Proposition 65 (CM-SCIP-Prop 65)
  • Verify, monitor, and measure processes and products against policies, objectives, and product requirements

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automated production, or another relevant field such as chemistry, for example.
  • 10 years of factory experience, ideally in an assembly environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and motivating high-performing teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence colleagues in all functions
  • Highly comfortable working in a culture of close collaboration with customers
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrialization and lean manufacturing
  • Ability to prepare and represent stakeholders during internal and external audits
  • Manager recognized by peers with a solid track record of proven results
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations (discrete production)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and mobilize others
  • Team-oriented with excellent leadership and influence skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team, and within tight deadlines
  • Ability to mobilize your team and colleagues in change management
  • Bilingualism is essential because, among other things, there are meetings with clients from other countries (French/English)
  • Proficiency in ISO9001 standards or equivalent standards
