We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Electrician at Royal Columbian Hospital located in New Westminster, British Columbia!

We are looking for applicants with;

• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a Journeyman Electrician recognized by the Province of British Columbia
• Two years' recent related experience
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

1. Reviews work requests and consults with user departments regarding specifications and other project requirements; interprets blueprints, drawings and specifications in order to determine the materials and equipment required.
2. Performs skilled electrical work by installing, altering, repairing, cleaning, testing, removing and maintaining light, power and communication circuits including phone and fire alarm systems, and other electronic equipment and appliances such as radios and medical devices.
3. Carries out safety checks on equipment and appliances to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
4. Performs other related duties are required.
