BC’s health system is in the process of transformation. The Clerk provides support to the department by performing clerical duties related to the preparation and processing of payroll information such as gathering data for various areas within payroll, reviewing and inputting information into databases, mail handling and distribution.

Education, Training & Experience

Grade 12 and one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to keyboard at 45 w.p.m.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal effectively with others.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
