FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Project Engineers at the senior level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sector. The mandate is to manage engineering and capital projects from design through commissioning and to coordinate suppliers and contractors, integrate GMP and validation requirements, and control cost, schedule, risks and safety. The senior scope is further to steer a project portfolio and arbitrate priorities and to mentor intermediate consultants and review their deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Plan and manage capital and engineering projects (scope, cost, schedule).
- Coordinate engineering firms, suppliers and contractors.
- Draft technical specifications, tenders and bid analyses.
- Oversee installation, commissioning and handover to operations.
- Integrate GMP, qualification and validation requirements from the design stage.
- Manage risks, changes and safety on work sites.
- Produce project reporting and dashboards.
- Steer a project portfolio and arbitrate priorities.
- Mentor intermediate consultants and review their deliverables.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, food) or other related discipline.
- Minimum ten (10) years of industry experience.
- Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Project Engineer.
- Sector standards: GMP (Health Canada), FDA 21 CFR 210-211, ICH Q7 to Q10, GAMP 5, ISO 9001.
- Tools and systems: MS Office suite, MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, SAP.
- Hold one of the following certifications: PMP, CAPM.
- The following are considered assets: membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), PMI-SP, Six Sigma Green Belt, PRINCE2.
- Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
- Language: French and English
