Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Maintenance Engineers at the senior level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the agri-food sector. The mandate is to plan and optimize the maintenance of agri-food production lines to ensure their reliability and to analyze failures, manage the CMMS and apply food safety and occupational safety requirements during interventions. The senior scope is further to define the maintenance strategy and the asset reliability plan and to mentor intermediate consultants and review their deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure the reliability and availability of production lines.
Analyze failures and implement corrective actions.
Manage the CMMS, spare parts and maintenance budgets.
Apply food safety requirements during interventions (food-grade lubricants, foreign material control).
Supervise technicians and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with safety and lockout rules.
Define the maintenance strategy and the asset reliability plan.
Mentor intermediate consultants and review their deliverables.
Steer the maintenance budget and investment trade-offs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, automation, electrical) or any other related discipline.
Minimum ten (10) years of industry experience.
Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
Sector standards: HACCP, SFCR (CFIA), SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000.
Tools and systems: MS Office suite, CMMS (Maximo, SAP PM), AutoCAD, MS Project.
Hold one of the following certifications: CMRP, TPM.
The following are considered assets: membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
