Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a Java Analyst-Programmer motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to analyze business needs and design solutions on the Java platform; develop, test and deploy robust, high-performing applications; maintain and evolve existing systems; and work closely with business and development teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze business needs and design solutions on the Java platform.
Develop, test and deploy robust, high-performing Java applications.
Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance on existing systems.
Contribute to the design of Java application architectures.
Document analyses, technical deliverables and test cases.
Collaborate with business, development and quality assurance teams.
Take part in Agile ceremonies and team code reviews

CANDIDATE PROFILE

University degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Java Analyst-Programmer.
Experience with the Java / Spring environment and relational databases.
Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
Hold one of the following certifications: Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE Developer, Oracle Certified Associate: Java SE Programmer.
Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
