Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a developer motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to design, develop and test software components according to business needs; take part in the technical design of solutions; fix defects and optimize code performance; and collaborate with analysis and quality assurance teams throughout the development cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop and test software components according to specifications.
Take part in the technical design of application solutions.
Fix defects and perform corrective and evolutive maintenance.
Optimize the performance and quality of the code produced.
Document the code and technical deliverables.
Collaborate with analysts, quality assurance and other developers.
Take part in code reviews and the team's Agile ceremonies

CANDIDATE PROFILE

University or college degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information technology.
Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as a Developer.
Experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, JavaScript).
Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
Hold one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Oracle Certified Master: Java EE Enterprise Architect.
Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): A-CSM, PSM II, CSP-SM, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (ASM) etc.
Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
