POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Business Development Managers at the intermediate level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the medical device sector. The mandate is to develop business in the medical device sector by identifying opportunities, preparing offers and negotiating contracts and to track the pipeline in the CRM and maintain lasting customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the growth strategy in the medical device sector.
Identify and qualify opportunities with manufacturers and healthcare institutions.
Prepare service offers, proposals and responses to tenders.
Negotiate agreements and close contracts.
Track the sales pipeline and forecasts in the CRM.
Represent the company at specialized events and trade shows.
Maintain customer relationships and ensure their satisfaction.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (BA, MBA), Commerce or Marketing.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Business Development Manager.
Sector standards: ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, MDSAP.
Tools and systems: MS Office suite, CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Power BI.
Hold one of the following certifications: Consultative selling certification, Google Analytics, HubSpot.
The following are considered assets: MBA, PMP, digital marketing certification.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
