FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for a application solution architect motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to design the application architecture of solutions (components, services, APIs, integrations) while embedding performance, security and maintainability requirements; produce architecture documents; recommend appropriate technologies; and guide development teams to ensure compliance with the target.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Design the application architecture of solutions: components, layers, services and APIs.
- Define design patterns, integration models and reuse mechanisms.
- Assess and recommend application technologies, frameworks and software packages.
- Produce application architecture documents and design specifications.
- Embed performance, security, maintainability and scalability requirements.
- Guide development teams and validate compliance with the target architecture.
- Collaborate with functional, data, technology and security architects.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in information technology.
- Minimum five (05) years of experience as an Application Solution Architect.
- Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
- Hold one of the following certifications: PL-600, AZ-305, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Hold one of the following Agile certifications (an asset): CSM, PSM I, PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe Scrum Master etc.
- Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
- Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
- Language: French and English
