Flexxco Construction, a general contractor specializing in high-end residential renovations in Montreal, is seeking a Level 3 carpenter apprentice to join our team.
We deliver meticulous, custom renovation projects, primarily in high-end private residences. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented apprentice who wants to grow in a structured and demanding environment, while being supported by an experienced team.

Actively participate in high-end residential renovation work under the supervision of a journeyman or site lead.

Perform a variety of tasks based on skill level: framing, drywall, insulation, vapor barrier, flooring and wall covering installation, doors and windows, moldings, cabinetry, accessories, and other finishing elements.

Assist with site preparation work: demolition, protective setups, organizing the workspace.

Read and understand instructions from site drawings or the foreman’s direction.

Work diligently and safely, respecting quality standards, CNESST safety regulations, and the specific requirements of each project.

Keep the job site clean and organized at all times; help with logistics including receiving materials, storage, and tool handling.

Collaborate respectfully with team members and specialized subcontractors.

Show initiative, ask questions as needed, and maintain a willingness to learn and improve.

Recognized Level 3 apprentice under the CCQ, or equivalent experience in residential carpentry (non-unionized / non-decree work).

Solid foundation in reading plans and understanding construction sequencing.

Hands-on experience on renovation job sites (single-family or multi-unit residential), ideally including finishing work.

Detail-oriented, punctual, and professional attitude.

Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while following guidance from the foreman or journeyman.

Valid driver’s license (strong asset).

Fluency in either French or English.

Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Competitive hourly rate based on apprenticeship level and demonstrated skills: $32–$38/hour.

Work is non-decree (private residential properties, owner-occupied).

Tools provided.

Potential to grow into a permanent or journeyman position, with annual salary reviews based on performance and project load.
