My client, a well-established manufacturing company located in East Montreal, is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team.

Responsibilities
Manage the full procurement cycle (sourcing, negotiation, purchasing).
Identify and develop a strong supplier network.
Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms.
Ensure proper follow-up on orders and product compliance.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, particularly maintenance.
Analyze purchasing data and optimize inventory levels.
Implement cost reduction initiatives.
Monitor market trends and recommend improvements

College diploma in a relevant field (procurement certification is an asset).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Bilingual in French and English.
Strong knowledge of technical parts (mechanical, plumbing).
Excellent negotiation skills and high level of autonomy.
Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (SAP is an asset).
Conditions
Annual salary: $80K-$90K
4 weeks of vacation from day one
