We are currently looking for an experienced Analyst-Developer to join a company in the media sector, located in downtown Montreal. This is a permanent, hybrid position (2 days on-site - 3 days remote).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Reporting to the Business Solutions and Application Development department, the Developer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital tools and products. They also contribute to the ongoing evolution and stability of existing technology platforms.
YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES
Analyze business needs expressed by analysts or internal teams and translate them into clear technical specifications
Draft and validate detailed functional analyses
Design, optimize, and maintain the source code of corporate applications and digital solutions
Document the technical architecture and code related to digital and application platforms
Perform necessary system integrations to ensure proper functioning of multiplatform solutions
Propose efficient solutions to information management challenges
Ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of developed solutions
Adhere to and help improve established development processes
Ensure compliance with applicable security standards
Perform any other related tasks as needed
THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in digital product development
Equivalency: A combination of relevant experience and recognized expertise in software development may also be considered
English language proficiency is required for this position for the following reasons:
Communication with international clients: Some of our clients are based abroad, and you will be required to communicate with them regularly in English, both verbally and in writing
Collaboration with English-speaking partners: You will work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to manage orders and contracts
Document writing in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals, or contracts in English for our international clients
