As a financial controller, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounting cycle and supervising the accounting team of a manufacturing company. Your main tasks will be:
-Ensuring the entire accounting cycle, including payroll, GST/QST, and DAS.
-Producing and analyzing monthly financial statements for various entities.
-Supervising and developing the accounting team.
-Actively participating in strategic projects (growth, acquisitions, new facilities).
-Collaborating with external auditors at the end of the fiscal year.
-Optimizing financial and administrative processes.
-Supporting management with ad hoc analyses.
What we are looking for:
-CPA designation
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a financial controller or in a similar position.
-Experience in the manufacturing sector
-Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of Sage (an asset).
-Bilingualism in French/English.
-Collaborative leadership, rigor, and organizational skills.
-Ability to take initiative and solve problems proactively.
