My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for a financial controller for my client, a company in the construction sector. This is a permanent position located in Varennes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Produce and analyze financial statements and performance indicators.
- Monitor site costs and corporate budgets.
- Participate in the entire accounting cycle in compliance with quality standards.
- Manage cash flow and ensure the company's financial health.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements.
- Supervise the accounting team and support its development.
- Produce and submit government declarations.
- Contribute to the search for financing and preparation of required files.
- Coordinate year-end documentation for external audit.
- Participate in the implementation of IT tools and process optimization.
- Negotiate with strategic customers and suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in accounting or finance
- 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar position, ideally including 3 years in the construction industry
- CPA designation (Essential)
- Excellent command of the Office suite, advanced Excel (Essential)
- Knowledge of Maestro ERP system (Asset)
- Bilingualism (Asset) to deal with certain English-speaking customers and suppliers
