MissionI am looking for a financial analyst for a manufacturing company in the Laurentians.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
-Preparing financial reports and performing account analyses.
-Preparing accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
-Ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
-Participating in internal control activities and audits.
- Prepare tax returns (income tax, GST/QST).
- Track fixed assets and CAPEX expenditures.
- Analyze exchange rate risks.
- Monitor expense reports and credit card transactions in Concur.
- Collaborate with the Shared Services Center and participate in continuous improvement projects.
Your Profile:
-CPA designation (strong asset)
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
-4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
-Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial closing processes.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
-Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate with your international colleagues
-Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong analytical skills.
-Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and a team player.
-Ability to meet tight deadlines.
