We are seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Director for our client. This is a permanent, hybrid position in the Montreal area.

As Director - Mergers and Acquisitions & Finance, you will play a central role in strategic corporate finance projects as well as in the analysis and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. More specifically, your role will include:
* Updating the strategic plan and financial modeling of long-term projections in collaboration with internal teams and clients;
* Leading the execution of mergers and acquisitions mandates and coordinating the various stages of transactions;
* Actively participating in the due diligence of opportunities, including financial, operational, commercial, and sector-specific aspects, in coordination with internal teams;
* Collaborating in discussions and negotiations with buyers and sellers, including the review of legal agreements (letters of intent, share/asset purchase agreements, etc.);
* Preparing the required presentations for various stakeholders, including the board of directors, for corporate finance and M&A projects;
* Supervise and coach teams (analysts and managers) in the context of their deliverables in their development plan.

* 8 to 10 years of professional experience in investment banking, corporate financial services, accounting, or corporate finance;
* CPA, CBV, or CFA designation, an asset;
* Proven accounting and finance skills, including knowledge of financial statements, financial statement analysis, valuation methods, etc.;
* Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg;
* Bilingual (French and English), both oral and written.
